Your safari adventure begins with a flight from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport. On arrival, we will meet and transfer you to the lodge for check-in.
The luxurious Idube Game Lodge is situated within the private Sabi Sands Game Reserve, located in the south-western corner of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. The reserve is famous for big cat sightings, as well as the Big Five. This exclusive and intimate family-owned lodge offers guests an authentic safari experience with its tranquil setting, well-appointed accommodation and personalized service.
Depending on your arrival time, you may venture out on your first-afternoon game drive in search of wildlife, including the Big Five. Game drives are approximately three and a half hours to four hours long, with a sundowner stop while looking at the majestic sunset. You return to camp in the early evening to enjoy a perfectly prepared meal under the African sky.
Accommodation: Idube Game Lodge
Guests are welcomed onto open vehicles twice a day, morning and late afternoon. On safari, guides and trackers share their wealth of knowledge about the animals and birds they see. They pride themselves on being able to identify tracks and to follow them, thus ensuring the best possible viewing for guests. This is where guests really get close to lions, elephants and other big game.
After exciting game viewing, guests have some free time to either cool off in the sparkling boulder pool or perhaps go for a workout in the well-equipped gym.
Sumptuous meals are served either on the sheltered timber deck with magnificent views of the surrounding bush and wildlife or in the boma under a canopy of stars. There is nothing like a cold refreshing drink in the bar after an exciting game drive in the African bush.
Idube also offers additional activities such as informative wildlife talks, a tracker’s course, visits to the Shangana Cultural Village, and traditional dance performances.

This morning you venture out on your last game drive in the African bush before returning to the lodge for a scrumptious breakfast. You will have some time to freshen up and pack up your belongings before saying your goodbyes and transferring to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport.
On arrival, you will connect with your onward flight back home. You may leave South Africa with a heavy heart, but not without some unforgettable experiences that will stay etched in your memory for a lifetime.

Great planning and service
Great planning and service, and everything worked like clockwork. We booked an Inyari Lodge safari with air with Safari.com. it wasn't clear if there will be 2 or three of us, so with Candis' help we booked a family chalet for 2 and added the third later when it was confirmed he can come. Candis put us on flights that maximized our game drive time (unlike some of the other guests) so we got all 6 drives in 3 nights. The lodge was great. Especially the game drives. We saw more than we hoped for. Additionally, Safari.com's insurance was very competitive. Highly recommended.

Very helpful even with ever changing trip!
Anja was very helpful in getting our tour booked for our group. With date changes, time changes, even up to the last minute flight changes, she was on top of things! We will use Safari.com in the future for our Kenya safari trips.

Shann was very responsive, provided multiple options, and was flexible to our changing needs and desires. Our travel selection was somewhat last minute and Shann was able to accommodate with many price points and reserves that were lower malaria risks.

Leigh-Ann was amazing.
Leigh-Ann was amazing. She worked incredibly hard to provide us with our complex safari in Botswana and our travel and accommodation in South Africa. Leigh-Ann was always very helpful and encouraging which must have been very difficult for her as we were within a very tight time schedule to arrange our holiday. She was very thoughtful and even included a list of the things we would need to take.
