Why

The Bazaruto Archipelago stands as an enchanting paradise that beckons to be explored by any discerning traveler. Nestled off the coast of Mozambique, this idyllic destination boasts pristine white sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and a vibrant underwater world that lures both beach lovers and diving enthusiasts alike. The archipelago's untouched beauty and diverse marine life offer a rare chance to connect with nature in its purest form. From adrenaline-pumping water sports to tranquil sunset cruises, the Bazaruto Archipelago presents an array of experiences catering to all tastes. Its rich cultural heritage, showcased through local art, cuisine, and warm hospitality, offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the rhythms of island life. In the embrace of luxurious resorts and the tranquil solitude of deserted beaches, visitors can find a harmonious blend of relaxation and adventure. The Bazaruto Archipelago stands as an undisputed gem, inviting guests to unwind, explore, and create timeless memories in a slice of paradise that feels a world away from the ordinary.

When

Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique has a warm, tropical climate with less rainfall than further south. The rainy season (from November to May) can get very uncomfortable because of the high humidity. The rest of the year can be warm but mostly pleasant. The humidity goes down, as does the rainfall, allowing you to make the most of all the outdoor activities and watersports.

Evenings are warm except for a few nights in June and July - very warm temperatures experienced in summer but with less humidity than the mainland. The dry season (June to October) is the best time to visit Bazaruto Archipelago.

Where

Bazaruto is a famous archipelago off the coast of Mozambique, near the mainland city of Vilankulo. It comprises the islands of Bazaruto, Benguerra, Magaruque, Banque, Santa Carolina (also known as Paradise Island) and Shell. . Renowned for it's natural beauty, biodiversity and pristine beaches.

Very helpful even with ever changing trip!
Anja was very helpful in getting our tour booked for our group. With date changes, time changes, even up to the last minute flight changes, she was on top of things! We will use Safari.com in the future for our Kenya safari trips.

Wonderful experience with Safari.com
Wonderful experience with Safari.com. My Safari Agent, Dolan, has 20+ years of experience in booking a memorable safari. He guided me in picking the right lodging and safari within my budget. He offered several options and answered all my questions. His response time was fast, regardless of the international time difference, and we were able to make quick decisions. Highly recommend.

Shann was very responsive
Shann was very responsive, provided multiple options, and was flexible to our changing needs and desires. Our travel selection was somewhat last minute and Shann was able to accommodate with many price points and reserves that were lower malaria risks.

Leigh-Ann was amazing.
Leigh-Ann was amazing. She worked incredibly hard to provide us with our complex safari in Botswana and our travel and accommodation in South Africa. Leigh-Ann was always very helpful and encouraging which must have been very difficult for her as we were within a very tight time schedule to arrange our holiday. She was very thoughtful and even included a list of the things we would need to take. I am so happy with the final outcome and I am very thankful to Leigh-Ann and the other Safari.com team members who worked so hard to make our dream safari a reality.
